I read your note about having a gaited Appaloosa. My grandma has an old Appy mare that is gaited. She does a sort of single foot gait. A friend of mine recentely bought a missouri foxtrotter/appy mare and she has a nice shuffle. What kind of gait does your horse do? My husband and I a thinking of raising Foxtrotter/Appy crosses. Our 2 favorite breeds. There are lots of paint colored gaited horses out there, we would like to see some appy color on the gaited trail horses.
